The Fourth Week

Quite a "normal week": they grow steadily and I grow fonder and fonder of them :-) At the end of the fourth week they each weigh between 1100 and 1200 grams. Red Rune being heaviest of course. They run around the house and play rough. Then drop off to sleep where they are. My feet being a favorite place for any of them.

Sleeping as usual.

Suckling as usual.

Hé, here is something new!!! I have placed grass on my balcony - and nearly broke my back for it - but it is a tremendous success!!! The pups love it and it is a great help in getting them housebroken, but the adult dogs get a jolly good time out of it too.

Rune, enjoying

Ashop and Larousse with Bailey's butt sticking out between the pots of plants.

Fescue, apparently in full coat, though I have started to strip her back, with Rune and Larousse

Fescue and Bailey

When I clean up, that is obviously very tiring, because everyone falls asleep. So ... I lay them aside and when I look up again I see this. Creepy isn't it???

They are so used to being weighed, that Larousse thinks it is a good idea to fall asleep in the bowl.

Rune

Rune and Bailey. For those of you who have trouble keeping the two blacks apart, Bailey has the white spot of paint on this right thigh.

After all the days' adventures it is nice to have a clean bed to get into.

A pity when the glassdoor is closed. Rune tries to convince me to open it and positions himself in front of it.
Fescue is mostly stripped by now and looks rather naked, but that can't be helped. She'll look a lot better in a couple of weeks.

Larousse is also waiting for the door to open.

Bailey comes to support Rune

Here it goes on
